Our table has 62 free books rated A2: 60 in English, 1 in Spanish, 1 in Italian. The easiest by vocabulary are A Piece of Red Calico (A2, 1,440 words), After Twenty Years (A2, 1,128 words) and An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge (A2, 1,174 words). Each title links to its own page with word counts, the opening lines and where to download it free.
